Prairie Lane Farm Newsletter
October, 2009

We’re sad to report our boarder who had been at the Farm the longest has gone home to.................Read more in the October Newsletter listed under our Newsletter link above.

For those interested in showing this week, the Farm is supporting the
Farewell Farm show this Saturday October 10th, if there are students who would like to attend. We need a count as soon as possible so we can make plans for horses, transport, etc. Please respond via e-mail or call John R.

The combined event show to be held here Sunday October 11th, is being
conducted by Anne Kuhns and the OKE group. If you would rather show
here, please make that wish known to John R. as well. But if you'd like to do both, we'll make it happen.

Since the new dressage arena is not finished, we will be using the
lighted arena for dressage, with warm up in the indoor.

The show jumping portion will be set up in the first paddock on the left at the beginning of the lane with the warm up in the pony paddock just east of the lighted arena. Make shift, I know, but who knew we'd have a week and a half of rain to hold up the dressage arena work.

FYI, Once the dressage arena is done, Anne Kuhns will help us organize
and conduct a 'dressage only' show to help introduce the new facility to the Oklahoma dressage community. It may well be the finest in all of Oklahoma!
